With a UV-protected polypropylene deck, you can easily transport all your gear without worrying about sand or water getting stuck in the deck. And with a reinforced and raised undercarriage that is 2″ taller than standard wagons, you can navigate through even the toughest terrains with ease.
But that’s not all! This Big Kahuna also features an aluminum four-rod holder that can be bolted to either side or the rear of the wagon. You can even choose the placement of the rod holder thanks to the pre-drilled holes in the deck. Alumacart Big Kahuna Beach Wagon w/UV Decking Features:
- Reinforced and raised undercarriages are 2'' taller than our standard pull wagon
- Aluminum four-rod holder bolted to the aluminum deck with stainless steel hardware. The rod holder can be affixed to either side of the wagon or the rear. Holes have been pre-drilled in the deck so you choose the placement of your rod holder.
- Includes aluminum wagon walls to protect your cargo from falling out of the wagon. All four wall sides slide into square tube receivers bolted to the wagon deck with stainless steel hardware. Each of the four wall sides can be removed independently of each other. They simply slide out of the square tube receivers.
- (4)11.8'' low PSI balloon tires. These low pressure sand tires make hauling your beach or fishing gear over the sand a breeze

Pricey but worth it
Hey Fence Sitters I am pleased with this product. The assembly was pretty straight forward. For the price a bicycle pump would have been a nice addition. I'm too old and fat to be making multiple trips from the truck to the beach. If you can't relax at the beach or end up pulling a hammy while wrestling with an ice chest or umbrella and a thousand other things the kiddos want to bring to the water, what's the point of going to the beach. This cart is my solution to all of that. It is a pricey investment that may take a few beach trips to pay for itself, but at the end of the day most of us fellas make only one trip hauling groceries in the house, so why not approach beach set up the same way? Trust Me, everyone who sees you sliding this rig to your spot is gonna be envious since they will need icy hot back at the condo cause they struggled like a mule pulling a stump. Love our Big Kahuna cart.
We bought the Big Kahuna cart w/UV deck at then end of June for our beach trip in July. We already owned balloon wheel folding cart from another brand, which is also great but needed more room. The BK is a game changer, we were able to haul 2 coolers, a 10x10 pop up, a 10x15 pop up, several chairs & boogie boards. When we go to the beach we stay all day so yes, we carry a lot! The BK made getting all of our heavy gear across the soft sand at Gulf Shores much easier and in one trip. We were able put coolers in and then stack tents, chairs, & boards on top. We then ran a couple of ratchet straps around the gear and under the cart to keep everything secure from falling since we were about the side rails, worked like a champ. We still used our folding cart to carry a few other items & cut down weight on BK, but fairly certain we could have made it all fit on the BK without a problem. I highly recommend the receiver hitch carrier as well, that way the BK is not taking up all your truck bed or cargo area, this thing is huge. I highly recommend the Big Kahuna and doing business with great staff at Island Beach Gear

It did what it is supposed to do
I gave this cart 5 stars because it did what it is supposed to do. However I would like to see bigger wheels, although they never failed to “roll” on loose sand. The side don’t lock in to the pockets so you have to be careful where you grasp it to pick it up or tip it to get sand and water out of it. Lastly it would be really nice if it had a latch for the handle. The handle rests almost straight up so any light bump or wind will make it fall to the ground. It’s sad that for $650 dollars they can’t put a latch on it, I had to use a bungee cord. One other disappointment was the fishing rod holders are Not sturdy enough to hold a beach umbrella. With all my complaints, I would still buy it again because there is nothing else close to it on the market right now. I will be making a few modifications to it and then it will be everything I had hoped it would be.
