Telescope Casual furniture has been around over a century and has left a lasting mark not only in the recreational industry but also in our hearts. Of the many things we bring to the beach ranging from towels, bathing suits, and suntan lotion, the beach chair has always been a staple. Providing comfort, leisure, and most importantly, fun. The Telescope name has created a legacy for other beach chairs to follow. This being the last year which Telescope is producing beach chairs, we thought we would take a look back at this beautiful history. 

This is one of the first ever beach chairs by Telescope from a catalog from 1927! Can you imagine a Telescope beach chair made of all wood? Imagine carrying that to the beach.
